Giving Group Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation, and support of our organization.  Donations are normally non-refundable.  However, if you have made an error in making your donation, we will honor your request.

 

To request a refund, please call us at (847) 404-1545 or email us at info@givinggrp.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

We will honor your request for a refund made within 15 days for your donation.

 

Recurring Donation Change or Stop Policy

To change or stop your monthly recurring giving, please call us at (847) 404-1545 or email us at info@givinggrp.org.

 

Recurring Donation Refund Policy

Donors have the option to give recurring donations. The Giving Group will be able to refund the previous month's donations only. See Donation Refund Policy above.

 

Overpayment or Error Refund Policy

Where an error has been made by The Giving Group or a banking facility that results in an overpayment being made, The Giving Group may, in consultation with the donor, refund by either a credit of the overpayment to the donor or alternatively by check for the full amount of the overpayment. Checks will be sent within 30 days to the donor’s address on file.

 

Giving Group Donor Account

We strongly encourage you to create Giving Group Donor Account when donating for the first time. This account will allow you to independently manage your recurring donations, update/delete payment methods, download your receipts and tax documents as well as cancel your account and discontinue any future donations if you choose to do so.
